Steve
has over 20 years human resources experience in retail, construction,
hospitality and chemical industries in both local as well as
multi-national corporations in Hong Kong, China, Taiwan and Canada. During his past 7 years working for Castrol (China) Limited, he has been successful in upgrading the human resources function from transactional to become a strategic business partner and a value-added function to the company. Since after the acquisition of Castrol by BP in July 2000, he has been primarily responsible in integrating the HR aspects of the 2 organizations in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. The integration aspects include change management, organization development, people development, system integration and terms and conditions harmonization. He has led and facilitated many team building activities, which are critical success factors in post mergers and acquisitions. |
